How can I train my existing employees about cultural awareness?
Cultural awareness training offers an opportunity for your existing employees to explore their own definition of values and culture, and the cultural values of migrants relocating to our region.

Sometimes it is best to provide cultural awareness information to your existing employees prior to arrival, or on arrival of a skilled migrant/s to your workplace. This can help to ease the transition for both the skilled migrant and your existing workforce. Dispelling myths at an early stage can assist with any misconceptions that may become entrenched if left alone.

Cultural awareness training is available to your workplace free of charge if you are employing skilled migrants. Our cultural awareness facilitators can tailor their training to suit your specific needs, whether it be in relation to a particular culture; or the duration of a training, from 20 minutes during a staff meeting to a full day workshop.
